Wedding DJing is an art in the ability to play tunes that can appeal to the many different generations that attend a wedding. I tend to play tunes that have a familiarity and can get everyone jumping without being overly cheesy (Happy to play cheesy if requested to do so). My collection runs the gamut of styles from 60’s soul, 70’s classic rock to 80’s pop and even House and Techno if requested. Though under my moniker the Funk Phanatik in Byron Bay and surrounds I play mainly rarer Funk Soul and Disco. I also with friends run parties called Deep Funk in the Forest and I can be heard on Bay FM on Monday 2-4pm. As a wedding DJ though I play a very diverse set of many genres and eras that keeps the dance floor shaking.
